Worship is a practice that looks much different than it did just a year ago. Whether we are worshipping in the pews with a mask on or engaging from the couch, it's just not the same. But we have a God bigger than our disappointment, who provides visual practices for us to connect and glorify Him. Visual Faith™ Ministry looks forward to this day of helping you connect with prayer practices that focus your time on worshipping the King, Jesus. We are dedicated to serving and equipping believers in the Kingdom with visual faith tools that may bring the hope of Jesus Christ to the World.
How do you prepare for this virtual retreat? Think about this time as a gathering of information on some great spiritual practices and ideas to try out. You will not come away from the day with 8 projects completed, nor is that the goal. The goal is to be exposed to several methods of approaching the Lord in prayer and to try them out to see which ones work for you at this time in your walk with Christ.
Hopefully, you have printed the Retreat Guidebook, gathered pens, pencils, and any other art supplies you want to use today. This day is your personal time to devote time to God and to open your hearts and hands to prayer practices that can deepen your relationship. Our Visual Faith Coaches are qualified speakers who have been where you are - desiring a powerful and rejuvenated prayer life in a time of stress and discouragement. They will show you how you can use their ideas to try something new according to your unique creativity and ideas. Learn "next steps" for your prayer life and how to implement simple practices to make this happen.
For more in depth study of Abide, click the link to go directly to the Abide Bible Study 5 LIVE videos, filmed in the Abide Retreat FB group. We hope the studies and the videos serve to draw you into God’s Word, enliven your spirit, and strengthen your faith as you join us in study and prayer. God bless you as you hopefully share these studies with your friends and neighbors, opening the door of God’s love to an even greater audience.
These video sessions didn't actually walk through the studies word for word, but presented an overview, and a behind the scenes conversation on how it came together, and some highlights from each weekly study. #vfm_abide2021 #retreatperk #abidebiblestudy
