Lenten Path #2 by Pat Maier
The artist was inspired to create this Lenten Path after traveling to Israel, where it is possible to walk on the very stones along streets where Jesus walked. The Sundays of Lent are included in the 46 spaces provided to record a word or image summary of a daily devotion as you “travel” through the Lenten Season from Ash Wednesday to Holy Saturday. You might choose to fill the “stone” to the left of center on Holy Saturday, as the stone “that was rolled away” and the center image as you celebrate the resurrection on Easter Sunday. The calendar might also be used to gather prayers.
