Our Coaches

A Visual Faith® Ministry Coach is someone who comes alongside others to encourage and guide them in creative, Scripture-based practices. Rather than serving as formal instructors, coaches are fellow practitioners who share their own experiences of engaging with God’s Word visually and prayerfully. Their role is to inspire, support, and help others discover ways to connect with Scripture that move beyond information into transformation.

Coaches bring a wide range of talents—some are artists, teachers, or writers, while others simply have a heart for sharing their faith. What unites them is a willingness to serve and a teachable spirit. They participate in learning cohorts, experiment with different visual faith practices, and allow the Holy Spirit to lead their work. Whether hosting workshops, leading online sessions, or contributing to ministry events, coaches create opportunities for people to explore new ways to remember, reflect, and pray through God’s Word.

At its core, the role of a Visual Faith® Ministry Coach is about walking alongside others. They help each person discover their own unique path of spiritual growth, encouraging creativity and openness in the process. By sharing stories, tools, and practices, coaches make space for Scripture to dwell richly in the lives of those they serve.

Family Life Coaches

This designation within the Visual Faith® Community represents an invitation to join a learning cohort that explores how visual faith practices can serve as discipling tools guided by the Holy Spirit. Coaches in this group recognize the home as the primary space for faith formation, while also extending their service to children in school or church settings. Family Life Coaches are invited to serve as apprentices, bringing with them an understanding of the “extra grace” needed to meet the daily demands of raising children.

Each coach brings unique gifts and areas of expertise, yet all share a common identity as practitioners with personal stories of transformation. Because of family responsibilities, their time to share skills online or in person may be limited, but their contribution is no less valuable. This designation affirms their willing hearts and teachable spirits as they faithfully follow the Spirit’s leading.
