Easter Crowns and Vintage Postcards

Updated: Mar 22

He Has Risen!

We offer these Easter crowns for your classroom,

Easter egg hunt, or family celebrations.

Two different designs. Print the crown part on cardstock. The band may be printed on regular copy paper.

Various colors can make a "rainbow" set of crowns. They can be colored with colored pencils, crayons, or markers. If time does not permit coloring, they are lovely just as printed. Fit the band and crown to the child's head, overlapping as needed, and staple to finish. Tape can be used, but stapling may be a bit more permanent.

This project was designed by Jessica Meier, first-grade teacher at St Paul's Lutheran School in Ann Arbor, Michigan, for their Easter Egg Hunt. A great way for the Christian meaning of Easter to be very visible in a classroom or community event. This project is FREE in the Shoppe at Visual Faith® Ministry.

New to the Shoppe is the latest set of vintage Easter cards from the collection of Connie Denninger.

They are best printed on cardstock and can be used for decorating for Easter, tucking in Easter baskets, or

a family gift to those attending an Easter Egg Hunt. They can be hung as a banner, bunting, or made into Easter cards to send in the mail or bless neighbors with the message that Jesus is Alive.

Most of these cards are from 1905-1912. There are 3 other sets of Vintage Easter cards on our website.

These cards are offered for FREE in the Shoppe at Visual Faith® Ministry.

We pray that these may bless your family, school, or church community in celebrating the great gift we have in the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Jesus is Alive!

I really enjoyed the nostalgic feel of this post, especially the idea of using vintage postcards to create those unique Easter crowns. There is something so special about the way those old illustrations capture the season, and it’s a lovely way to repurpose items that might otherwise just sit in a drawer. I’ve been looking for some creative outlets lately to balance out my heavy workload, and while I usually rely on services like New Assignment Help in Australia for my academic formatting needs, I think I might actually take an afternoon off to try this DIY. The layering of the lace with the cardstock is such a delicate touch. Do you find that the older postcards hold up well…
