Have you ever had one of those weeks where you were in a bad mood and nothing seemed to be going well? You woke up late every morning for work, locked yourself out of your house and heard some bad news?
It may seem like everything is going wrong, you're feeling down, and you just want the day (or week) to be over, but God's LOVE ENDURES!
Despite our mistakes, mishaps and wrong doings, God's love endures. We deserve misery for the sins that we commit everyday. We deserve eternal condemnation, which can't be put lightly. Yet, God still LOVES us. Instead of seeing us in our sin, He sees us as pure and white as snow through the washing by the blood shed by Jesus on the cross.
Over 40 times in the Bible does the passage occur: "His love ENDURES forever." One whole psalm dedicated to that phrase...
"Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good.
His love endures forever.
Give thanks to the God of gods.
His love endures forever.
Give thanks to the Lord of lords:
His love endures forever.
to him who alone does great wonders,
His love endures forever..." Psalm 136:1 - 4
Those are just the first four verses. The Psalm goes on to describe God's love enduring through the Israelites' flight through the desert. God's people endured 40 years of bad days and weeks and months...and God's love still came through!
We all will have difficult days, but God is ever present, and His love endures forever!
