The Learning Curve Has Been Steep!

By now, you may have already tapped into the vast pool that is The Movable Adventure: Pathways for Spiritual Transformation. But there are a great many of you out there who are just now beginning to open the journal, view a few videos, and try out some of the Visual Faith practices. In November, when The Adventure launched, I promised there would be additional material in January of 2022 – and it’s here!

The God of Change: Moses’ Journey of Transformation launched on January 1, 2022. This four unit, 20 lesson study follows Moses through the spiritual transformation God effected in his life.

The Movable Adventure included two Bible studies based on Romans 12:1-2. You can find those in The Movable Adventure Journal: Pathways for Transformation. That book is available for download on the website or purchase Amazon. The decision was made to include those first two Bible studies on Romans 12:1-2 in the new book along with the studies on the life of Moses. As such, a few changes were made to the Romans studies to make them easier to handle (they were fairly long in The Movable Adventure Journal) and a more cohesive part of the rest of the studies about Moses. This choice had brought with it some confusion. With that in mind, let’s see how to marry these two books together.

Those two studies on Romans 12:1-2 became five studies in the new book. While the studies are basically the same, there are some minor differences. (I’m just going to be honest here. I found the editing process to be very challenging. Every time I opened the studies for the purpose of editing, I thought of more information, another question, or a new Visual Faith practice to add. It was becoming a little crazy.) The point here is that you can use either book and be just fine. While it may be helpful to all have the same book if you are working in a group, is really isn’t imperative. The videos remain the same and most of the exercises are the same.
